Marlene is a speaker, author and communication consultant who works with high level professionals who want to increase personal performance and break through the obstacles keeping them from living a life of passion and purpose. Marlene says, “Everyone has drama and drama manifests in various ways. Marlene’s signature process is known as “The Stop Your Drama” Methodology, a system to help companies and individuals align with purpose to achieve higher levels of success both personally and professionally.
Drama Manifests as Turnover, Negativity, Low Confidence
On the personal level drama can manifest as loss of purpose, low self-confidence, relationship conflict, and anxiety about the future. In your company or your professional life drama shows up as turnover, office gossip and low morale. All of these manifestations are obstacles to peace and prosperity.”
Drama is the leak in the boat, the rock you get stuck on,
the fog that adds to your confusion. Drama is what happens
in the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
There is Always Turbulence before Transformation
Right before a big change, whether the change is personal, professional or corporate, there will be chaos, or turbulence. This is a “sign” that shifts are taking place. Marlene Chism makes many distinctions between”The” drama versus “Your” drama. The Drama happens. Your drama is your reaction to what happens.
Marlene Chism understands the turbulent journey of reinvention. For over 21 years Marlene worked in manufacturing on the bottom rung of the production lines in general labor and blue collar work, simply going through the motions, and as she says, “rotating every hour to the next position.”
